The Lavarella Brewery Ga.beer is not only known for its high-quality beers, but also as the highest brewery in Europe. It is located in the heart of the Dolomites Nature Park at an altitude of 2050 meters. This unique location inspires the brewery to create beers with a special terroir and an unparalleled alpine touch. Ga.beer is proud to incorporate the breathtaking natural scenery into its brewing art and to offer beer lovers a unique and authentic experience.
It all started with a Brewiks 200 liter brewing system and two tanks that had to be accommodated in just 25 square meters. Since the mountain hut in the middle of the Dolomites is difficult to access, the entire brewery equipment was flown in by helicopter to over 2050 meters. (see video)
The home-brewed beer was so well received by the guests that an upgrade to a fully automatic 500 liter system became inevitable. For this purpose, in 2022, a special vertical brewhouse and narrow storage tanks were designed to optimally utilize the extremely limited space.
