Before first use

The Brewiks requires electricity and cold water for full operation.

Heating system

The heating system operates with pressurized water. Before the first use, trained personnel must fill water into the system. This is done with normal tap water.

Below the main unit, there is an inlet pipe that must be connected to cold water. The water pressure must be 1 bar; this can be seen on the pressure gauge installed near the filling pipe.

When water enters, air must escape. The vent valve is located on the top of the main unit. Air is released through a small black plastic screw that must be unscrewed. Even when water is in the system, there is still some air in it, and the pressure drops the first few times. Every time the pressure drops below 1 bar, water must be refilled.

When the pressure drops close to 0 bar, the sensor is activated, and a warning message appears on the screen.

Electrical System

Before the first use, trained personnel must connect the Brewiks to the power grid. The new Brewiks device is delivered without a power cable. The power cable must be provided by trained personnel and the Brewiks power box must be connected to the power source. Trained personnel must provide the appropriate cable and plug.

At the end of the main user manual, there is a power plan showing the consumption of Brewiks heaters, pumps, and electrical components.
