Cleaning
The Brewiks should be cleaned immediately after the brewing process. Avoiding the build-up of wort and malt residues will make cleaning much easier.
All stainless steel parts can be cleaned with a common household cleaner. Abrasive sponges and brushes that cause scratches are not suitable.
The pump and the pipelines including the valves also need to be thoroughly cleaned. When cleaning with the recirculation pump, open and close the valves. Periodically, the hoses/pipes should be removed and cleaned with a separate brush.
When cleaning the kettle, make sure that no splashing water or moisture reaches the electrical components. Disconnect the power supply of the Brewiks during cleaning. Before brewing, simply clean the Brewiks and its internal parts with warm water to remove dust and dirt. Also, rinse the pump and the pipes with water circulation.
Ensure that no cleaning product residues remain in the Brewiks that could negatively impact foam stability.
To allow the valves to drain and dry properly, leave them open.

Storage
The Brewiks should be stored in a dry place. Avoid contact with objects that contain iron or are rusty. The ambient temperature must be higher than 10 degrees Celsius.
Maintenance and Repairs
All components used are standard components and can be replaced by the same or replacement components.
Disposal
Protect our environment; electrical components do not belong in household waste. Use designated collection points for the disposal of electrical appliances and drop off your old devices there. This helps to avoid the potentially harmful effects of improper waste disposal on the environment and human health. You assist in recovering, recycling, and otherwise reusing old electrical and electronic devices. Information on where to dispose of your devices can be obtained from your local authority.
Warranty Conditions and Complaints
Conditions
a) The statutory warranty terms apply. The warranty period for consumers is limited to the period set for commercial customers, as long as they use a device suitable for commercial use - even if this is only partially the case.
b) An essential prerequisite for warranty claims against our company or one of our representatives is the presentation of a copy of the purchase receipt. The processing conditions specified below apply to the warranty review.
c) In order to process warranty claims as quickly as possible, defects that are recognizable must be reported to us in writing, with a description of the defect and, if necessary, with photos.
d) The warranty does not extend to defects caused by non-compliance with the operating instructions, improper handling or normal wear and tear of the device. Furthermore, warranty claims are excluded for sensitive parts or wearing parts such as seals or similar. Finally, warranty claims are excluded if unauthorized persons have carried out work on the device.
Procedure
If your device has a defect within the warranty period, please inform us of your warranty claim. The quickest and most convenient way is to return the device or report the defect to the appropriate representative or directly to our company:
Please send us your complete address with contact information to info@mithraeum.si. We also need the type identification of the affected device, a brief description of the error, if possible with photos, the purchase date (copy of the invoice), and the name of the representative from whom you purchased the device.
After reviewing your claim, we will contact you as soon as possible with instructions on how to proceed. Please do not return the device without postage paid.
